Did I mention we had a garage and bake sale yesterday?
It.was.exhausting.
RJ, er, I mean, the kids, love chocolate chip cookies.
Honestly, I can’t remember which, if any, recipes I’ve posted on here but I bet I have tried 25 different types of chocolate chip cookies.
Seriously.
I’m going to warn you: this recipe sounds beyond decadent.
But it’s not.
And that’s kind of the point.
Ok, so I’m not sure how “healthy” this chocolate cake is. But it is delicious anyways! If you are looking for a rich, borderline fudgy chocolate cake to satisfy that sweet tooth, this recipe will send you over the moon. With hopefully a little less guilt!
This is my favorite cheesecake in the world.
I first made it for Thanksgiving a couple of years ago. I’ll be honest: everyone says I go a just little bit overboard with holiday desserts. I usually offer about 5 desserts: a combination of cookies, bars, pies, cakes, you name it. What can I say? I sure don’t want anyone going hungry at my house!
But if you are looking for just one killer dessert for a party or holiday, this is your stop.
I love the classic Upside-Down Pineapple Cake. You know, the one with the canned pineapple rings and maraschino cherries. Our kids especially love it and enjoy helping spread out the fruit and brown sugar topping in the bottom of the pan!
Here is one we made earlier in the spring. It lasted one night.
I use Trisha Yearwood’s recipe and it always turns out great!
I love watching The Pioneer Woman on Food Network. Maybe it’s because I feel like there’s a secret club that we belong to since we both have 4 children. It’s like she’s already been there, done that since her kids are a little older than mine. And she obviously knows how to feed a crowd!
